To print on envelopes
Using the Envelope Feeder

The Envelope Feeder enables you to print on the following envelopes:

Monarch, Commercial 10, DL, C5

To print on envelopes

To print on envelopes, you need to install the optional Envelope Feeder. To use the Envelope Feeder, select ENV in the printer driver's menu or the SelecType Printing menu.

Caution:

Always use the optional Envelope Feeder when you print on the envelopes listed above; otherwise, the printer will not work properly and can be damaged.

Note:

The Envelope Feeder cannot be installed at the same time as the MP tray.

You can print on International B5 envelopes with the MP tray.

Using the Envelope Feeder

Always load envelopes in the Envelope Feeder with their flaps folded and facing up, as shown below.

Adjust the paper guide to match the envelope size and lower the bar onto the envelopes to feed them correctly.

Note:

Make sure to adjust the paper guides to the envelope size you load; otherwise, the printer will not print properly.
