Offset Stacking

To the face-down tray
To the optional Finisher Stapler

The Offset Stacking mode allows you to separate print jobs, or multiple copies of your document, by alternating their positions in the face-down tray as shown below. This mode is also applicable with the Finisher Stapler.

The Offset Stacking mode supports the following paper sizes.

A3, A4, Ledger, Legal, Government Legal, Letter, Executive, A5, Half-Letter

Select the Offset Stacking mode in one of the following ways.

Using the printer driver
Select Offset Stacking in the printer driver. For more information on using the printer driver, see the driver's online help.

Using the SelecType
For information on selecting the Offset Stacking mode with the SelecType settings, see Printing Menu.

Note:
The Offset Stacking mode works with the face-down tray or the optional Finisher Stapler. If you print in the stacker mode to the optional Multibin Unit, printouts are not offset.

To the face-down tray

In the Offset Stacking mode, separate print jobs or multiple copies are output in alternate positions.
