Removing an interface card

Your printer comes with a Type B interface slot. The optional interface card is available to expand your printer's interface options. For more information, see Options and Consumable Products.

Caution:
Before you install the interface card, be sure to discharge any static electricity by touching a grounded piece of metal. Otherwise, you may damage static-sensitive components.

Note:
Printing through a network requires more memory than other connections. Therefore, to increase printer performance, increase the printer's memory.
