If you notice a misalignment of vertical lines, you may be able to solve this problem using the Print Head Alignment utility in your printer software or control panel buttons. Follow the directions in the appropriate section below.
Using the Print Head Alignment utility
Follow the steps below to use the Print Head Alignment utility.

Note:

Do not start the Print Head Alignment utility while printing is in progress; otherwise, your printout may be marred.

For Windows users
|
Load A4 or Letter size Archival Matte Paper, Premium Semigloss Photo Paper, or Professional Glossy Paper.

Click the Utility tab, then click the Print Head Alignment button.
|
|
Follow the messages on your screen to align the print head.
|
For Macintosh users
|
Load A4 or Letter size Archival Matte Paper, Premium Semigloss Photo Paper, or Professional Glossy Paper.

Click the Utility icon in the Printor Page Setup dialog box, then click the Print Head Alignment button.

Follow the messages on your screen to align the print head.
