General Flow of Printing Procedure

Determine the paper path. See Selecting a Paper Path and Paper Path and Loadable Paper Size.

Select paper. See Paper Tray and Loading Capacity by Media Type and Notes for Special Media and Other Media.

Load paper in the printer. See Loading Paper in a Paper Tray or Loading Paper into the Manual Feed Slots.

Open the file you want to print on your Windows or Macintosh system.

Make the settings in the printer driver. See Using the Printer Driver.
