Transporting the Scanner
For the scanner
When transporting the scanner over a long distance, or when storing them for an extended period, you need to lock the scanner's carriage to prevent damage. Follow the procedures below.
For the scanner

Turn on the scanner and wait until the carriage moves left to the home position.

Turn off the scanner.
|
 |
Pull down the transportation lock to the locked position.
|
 |
Attach the protective materials and repack it in the original box.
