Status lights

The indicator lights (one green and one orange) provide you with important information on the operations of the print server.

The green light is a data transmission light that flashes when the host interface receives data.

The orange light indicates whether the print server is connected to 10Base-T or 100Base-TX. The light is on when the connection is 100Base-TX, or off when the connection is 10Base-T.

Network connector

RJ-45 connector:
This connector is used to connect an Ethernet cable to a network. You can use this cable for both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX.

Caution:

You must use a Category-5 shielded twisted-pair cable to connect the print server to a network to prevent malfunctions.
