Installing the Printer Driver/Utility

Follow these steps to install the printer driver:

Note:

EPSON Status Monitor 3, a utility program that monitors your printer and gives you information about the current status of the printer, is also installed with the printer driver.

Make sure the printer is turned off and Windows is running on your computer.

Insert the CD-ROM that comes with your printer into your CD-ROM drive.

The EPSON Installation Program screen opens automatically.

If the EPSON Installation Program screen does not appear automatically, click Start and Run (Windows 98/95 or Windows NT 4.0); or choose Run from the File menu in the Program Manager (Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11 for Workgroups or Windows NT 3.51). Then, enter D:\EPSETUP.EXE and click OK (substitute the appropriate drive letter if necessary).

Double-click Install Printer Driver/Utility; or you can also install by selecting Install Printer Driver/Utility and then clicking the arrow at the top right.

In the dialog box that appears, select the printer name and click OK. The printer driver is installed automatically.

When installation is complete, click OK.

The printer driver/utility is now installed on your computer.
