Installing Software

Before installing the Printer Software

The CD-ROM that comes with your printer contains utility programs and a printer driver for Microsoft® Windows® 3.1, Windows 3.11 for Workgroups, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT® 3.51, and NT 4.0.

After connecting the printer to your computer, install the printer driver. With the driver software supplied with the printer, you can make settings such as paper size, paper source, and orientation. You can also refer to the printer driver's online help for detailed information about printer settings.

Your computer must meet the following requirements in order to be able to use the Windows driver included with the printer:

The computer must be running either Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups (3.11), Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT (3.51 or 4.0).

After installing printer driver, install EpsonNet WinAssist or MacAssist to configure the printer for use on the network.
