Memory problems

The message Mem Overflow appears on the LCD panel.

Cause

What to do

The printer has insufficient memory to execute the current task.

You need to simplify the page you are trying to print, change your memory allocation, or add more memory to your printer. Try simplifying your page by reducing the number or size of fonts or the number or size of graphics, or both.

To correct the error, press the Continue button on the control panel.

The message Image Optimum appears on the LCD panel.
Cause	What to do
The printer has insufficient memory to print the page at the specified print quality, and the printer reduces the quality automatically so that the printer can continue printing.	Check to see if the printouts is acceptable. If not, add more memory for a permanent solution or lower the Print Quality and Page Protect to Off temporarily in the printer driver.
