When to use SelecType
How to make the settings
SelecType menu table
Normally, use SelecType only for settings you cannot make in the application programs you are using or the printer driver, including the following:
Keep in mind the following when using SelecType settings:
Use the buttons on the printer's control panel to enter SelecType mode. SelecType settings appear on the LCD panel.

Press the Menu button to enter SelecType mode. You can also enter SelecType mode by pressing the SelecType (ALT) button three times. The indicator light next to Menu comes on. |
Use the Menu, Item, and Value buttons to display settings as described below: |
To display menus, press Menu.
To display items in a menu, press Item.
To display values for an item, press Value.
An asterisk () appears beside the currently active value.
Press ALT in combination with each button to display menus, items, or values in reverse order.

To activate a new setting, press Enter. An asterisk () appears beside the setting. |
To exit the SelecType mode, press On Line or SelecType. |

The following table shows the order in which SelecType menus and menu items appear on the display panel.
Press the Menu button to display the next menu. Press the ALT and Menu buttons to display the previous menu.
