Paper that should not be used
Previously printed paper

Note:

Since the quality of any particular brand or type of paper may be changed by the manufacturer at any time, EPSON cannot guarantee the quality of any type of paper. Always test samples of paper stock before purchasing large quantities or printing large jobs.

Plain paper, recycled paper, labels, envelopes, transparencies, colored paper, card stock, letter head, preprinted paper

Note:

Use recycled paper under normal temperature and humidity conditions only. Poor quality paper may reduce print quality, cause paper jams and other problems.

Printable area

4 mm minimum margin on all sides.
(3.4 mm minimum left and right margin when you print with wide A4 setting.)

Printable area varies according to the emulation mode.

Paper that should not be used

You cannot use the following paper in this printer. The following paper may cause printer damage, paper jams, or poor print quality.

Special media for ink jet printers

Paper that has been printed on by any other laser printer, black-and-white laser printers, color copiers, or black-and-white copiers

Paper that has been printed on by an ink jet printer or thermal transfer printer

Carbon paper, no carbon paper, thermal-sensitive paper, pressure-sensitive paper, or acid paper

Overly thick or thin paper

Moist or damp paper

Labels that easily peel off

Glued or stapled paper, paper with paper clips

Coated paper or special-surface colored paper

Paper too smooth or too slick, paper too coarse, or paper that is different on the front and back

Paper that has binder holes or is perforated

Paper that is folded, curled, wavy, or torn

Paper that is an irregular shape, or paper that does not have right angle corners

Previously printed paper

Do not use paper that has been printed on previously, as it may cause poor print quality, paper jams, or damage the printer.
