Distributing the Printer Driver Automatically

EpsonNet NDPS Gateway

The automatic distribution function of the printer driver makes it easy to distribute the printer driver to clients on the network.

The network administrator stores the printer driver on a computer and the clients can access the computer to install the driver automatically. This simplifies the installation work. The following methods are available.

EpsonNet WebManager

First, store the printer driver on the same computer you have installed EpsonNet WebManager. Then, announce the URL of the computer to your clients. When they access the URL, the printer driver stored on the computer is automatically installed on their computers.

EpsonNet NDPS Gateway

EpsonNet NDPS Gateway is a gateway software that you can use to print and monitor the printer status of the Epson printer in the NDPS (Novell Distributed Print Services) environment of NetWare.

Use the Setup tool of EpsonNet NDPS Gateway to upload the printer driver to Resource Management Service (RMS). When the printer driver is installed in RMS, it is automatically installed on the workstations.
