Paper Handling
When feeding paper forward
When feeding paper backward
To avoid your printouts getting dirty or crinkled, set the paper basket as shown below. You can use the paper basket for both roll paper and cut sheet media.
Note: |
When you print on thick paper, set the paper basket forward to avoid your printouts becoming damaged. See "When feeding paper forward" following. |
Fully pull out the paper basket hooks as shown, so that they rest on the floor. |
Take the two rods and place them in front of the basket hooks. |
Hook the shorter rod on the ends of the basket hooks. The longer rod should rest on the floor under the basket hooks. |
Push in the top of the paper basket so that the printout will be fed to the front. |
If necessary, extend the paper basket fabric out on the floor in front of the printer (for large print jobs). |
Caution: |
Always load B1 (728 x 1030 mm) size thick paper (0.5 mm to 1.5 mm) long edge first and feed the paper forward. Otherwise, damage to your printouts may occur. |
Fit the ends of the three rods into the slots at the ends of the paper basket arms and push the paper basket hooks in. |
Pull out the top of the paper basket so that the printout will be fed to the back. |
