Using the printer

Refer to the appropriate section below for the minimum and recommended computer system requirements necessary to use this printer.

To use your printer, you need to have Microsoft^® Windows^® XP, Me, 98, or 2000 installed.

USB connection:
To connect your printer via a standard, shielded USB 1.1 cable, you need a Windows XP, 98, or 2000 pre-installed PC equipped with a USB port. For Windows Me users, your PC must be a Windows Me pre-installed model or upgraded from a Windows 98 pre-installed model.

Your computer should also meet the following system requirements.

SVGA monitor for Windows XP, Me, 98, and 2000	SVGA monitor or better for Windows XP, Me, 98, and 2000

Your computer dealer can help you update your system if it does not meet these requirements.

Hard disk space	7 MB to install the Reference Guide and Photo Print Software Setup
CD-ROM drive	Double-speed (quad-speed or faster recommended)
Display	640 x 480 pixel or 800 x 600 pixel resolution, with High Color (16 bit) or True Color (32 bit) setting
Browser	Web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later recommended)
