EPSON Status Monitor

You can identify many common printer problems using the display on your printer's LCD panel.

Error

Display	Solution
Replace cartrdge. For best results, use the genuine PictureMate Print Pack (T5570).	Replace the photo cartridge shown, with new one.
CODE:P Replace cartridge. For best results, use the genuine PictureMate Print Pack (T5570).	Replace the photo cartridge shown, with a new one.
Replace photo cartridge to perform head cleaning. Press OK to return.	Replace the photo cartridge with a new one. Press OK.
Try loading paper again, then press OK.	Load paper in the paper feeder, and press the OK button to turn this light off. The printer resumes printing.
Paper is jammed in the printer. Remove the jammed paper, then press OK.	Remove the jammed paper. See The paper jams for details.
Photo cartridge removed, not inserted correctly, or not recognized. Reinstall the PictureMate Photo Cartridge.	Reinstall the photo cartridge.
The printer needs service. See your printer manual for help.	Contact your dealer.
The inserted card cannot be used with this printer. See your printer manual for help.	Use a compatible and formatted memory card.
Bluetooth Photo Print Adapter error. Disconnect and reconnect the Adapter.	Disconnect the Adapter, then reconnect to the printer.
Close the cartridge door.	Close the cartridge door on the back of the printer.
General error. See your printer manual for help.(0000)	Clear all print jobs waiting to be printed from the computer before turning off the printer. Remove any jammed paper, wait a few minutes, and then turn the printer back on. To clear the print jobs, see Canceling Printing. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.

* The photo cartridge for this printer includes an internal pad to absorb ink discharged during head cleaning. In the event that the pad becomes saturated, the photo cartridge must be replaced even if there is ink remaining.

Warning

Error	Display	Solution
Ink low	You are running low on ink. For best results, use the genuine PictureMate Print Pack (T5570).	Obtain a replacement photo cartridge.
No data in Memory card	No photos found.	Check the memory card.
Printing from computer*¹	Communicating with computer. Please wait.	Start printing from the LCD panel after printing from the computer is completed.
Irregular external device.*²	The connected device cannot be used.	Connect on external storage device that is compatible with the printer.

*1 This warning appears when the Print button is pushed, and it disappears after three seconds.

*2 This warning is displayed for one second every 3 seconds.

EPSON Status Monitor

If a problem occurs while printing, an error message will appear in the Progress Meter window.

When the ink is out, click the How To button in the EPSON Status Monitor or Progress Meter window, and EPSON Status Monitor will lead you step-by-step through the cartridge replacement procedure.

If an error message indicating that parts inside your printer needs service appears, contact your dealer for replacement.
