Installing PIF DESIGNER

When installing the software, PIF DESIGNER is also installed. See your product's documentation for information on how to install the software.

Note:

This software does not support the UNIX File System (UFS) for Mac OS X. Install the software on a disk or in a partition that does not use UFS.

You can select the software you want to install from a list of choices. If you do not want to install PIF DESIGNER, click Custom when the installer opens and clear the PIF DESIGNER check box, then click Install.

If you are upgrading from an older version of PIF DESIGNER, the old version is automatically uninstalled before the new version is installed. Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

Accessing PIF DESIGNER

To access PIF DESIGNER, double-click the PIF DESIGNER shortcut icon on the desktop.

Note:

Make sure that EPSON PhotoQuicker is not running before you start PIF DESIGNER.

For details on PIF DESIGNER, view the PIF DESIGNER User's Guide by double-clicking the User's Guide icon in the PIF DESIGNER folder.

Uninstalling PIF DESIGNER

Insert the software CD into the CD-ROM drive. The EPSON software CD opens automatically.

Double-click the English folder, the PIF DESIGNER folder, then the Installer icon.

The License dialog box opens. Follow the on-screen instructions.

When the Installer dialog box opens, select Uninstall from the pull-down menu in the top left corner.

Click the Uninstall button. When a message appears informing you that the uninstall was successful, click OK.

Click Quit to close the Installer dialog box.
