Note:

Use recycled paper, labels, continuous forms with labels, and overlapping multi-part forms only under normal temperature and humidity conditions described below.

Temperature: 15 to 25°C (59 to 77°F)
Humidity: 30 to 60% RH

Do not load paper that is curled, folded, or crumpled.

Continuous paper (Single sheets and multi-part forms)

Use only continuous paper with less than 5 mm diameter punch holes.

The ratio of the cut/uncut length at the perforation should be between 2:1 and 5:1.

If the horizontal and vertical perforation cuts cross, do not print in the area illustrated below.

The thickness of the perforation part when extended should be 2 mm or less.

The perforation between pages should not extend all the way to the edges of the paper. Uncut length on the edges should be 1 mm or more.

Carbonless or carbon-backed multi-part forms with point gluing or paper stapling on both sides

Do not load thick paper, such as multipart forms with more than seven parts, with the rear tractor.

Form sheets of continuos multi-part forms should be securely joined together along the left and right edges by crimping or spot-gluing. See the illustration below for details.

Plain paper or the same quality labels

Use only labels on continuous backing sheets.

Epson recommends using labels whose backing sheet is entirely covered with label material.

Note:

When you use paper that is less than 4 inches (101.6 mm) wide, the left margin is fixed at 13 mm (0.51 inch) regardless of paper type. Setting the left margin to larger than that may cause a defect when beginning on a new line or cause a skew.

When you use continuous paper with labels that is more than 16 inches (406.4 mm) wide while the optional pull tractor is installed, the left margin may be set to 18 mm (0.71 inch) or more.

When loading paper with the front tractor, set the Page length for front tractor setting to 6 inches or more.

Continuous paper

The minimum top and bottom margins (above and below the perforation) are 4.2 mm (0.17 inch).

The minimum left and right margins are 13 mm (0.51 inch).

	A	The minimum top margin is 2.2 mm (0.09 inch).
	B	The minimum left and right margins are 13 mm (0.51 inch).
	C	The minimum top and bottom margins on label are 2 mm (0.08 inch).
	D	The minimum left and right margins on labels are 3 mm (0.12 inch).
