EPSON

Printing Photos

Note:
Using EPSON Easy Photo Print included on the CD-ROM is the easiest and quickest way to create various photos, such as borderless photos or photos with borders or frames. EPSON Easy Photo Print also helps you enhance your photos.
See Starting EPSON Easy Photo Print
When you print a borderless photo, part of the image will be cropped off because this option enlarges the image slightly beyond the paper size. You need to adjust the image file to the size of the paper. If your application has margin settings, make sure they are set to zero before printing.
For instructions on roll paper printing, see the following section.
See Printing on Roll Paper

Loading paper

Refer to the section below for details on loading paper.
When using special Epson paper, refer to the section below.

Using Gloss Optimizer

This printer uses Gloss Optimizer with the photo paper to improve the glossiness of photographs. However, its effectiveness will depend on the data or the paper you use. If Gloss Optimizer is not effective, Epson recommends you to disable the Gloss Optimizer setting in the printer driver by either of the following ways;
Windows
Click the Main tab in the printer driver, then clear the Gloss check box.
Mac OS X
Click Print from your application's File menu, choose Print Settings in the Print window that is displayed, then select Off for Gloss Optimizer, which becomes available when you select the Advanced mode under Print Settings.
Note:
Printing will not be possible if the Gloss Optimizer cartridge has expended even when Gloss Optimizer is disabled. Before printing, replace the expended cartridge.
