Your printer software has an extensive online help feature, which provides you with instructions on printing, making printer driver settings, and using the printer utilities. In Windows 98, 95, 2000, and NT 4.0, you can access online help from an application or from the Windows Start menu. In Windows 3.1, you can access online help through the EPSON program group. Refer to the appropriate section below.

Accessing help from an application

To access help from an application, open the application's File menu and choose Print or Print Setup. Then click Printer, Setup, Options, or Properties. (Depending on the application, you may need to click a combination of these buttons.) Click Help at the bottom of the Main, Paper, Layout, and Utility menu for help related to that menu.

For Windows 98, 95, 2000, and NT 4.0, you can get specific help related to any item on a menu by right-clicking the item, then clicking the What's This? command in the shortcut menu that appears. The help contents window opens.
