Loading Paper
Follow these steps to load paper:

The illustrations in this section show the SX218/TX220/520/NX220.

Open the paper support, slide out the extension, and then flip the feeder guard forward.
|

Lower the output tray, slide out the extension, and then raise the stopper.
|
Note:|
When using Legal size paper, lower the stopper (*).
|

Pinch and slide the edge guide.
|
 |
Fan a stack of paper, then tap it on a flat surface to even the edges.
|
 |
Load the paper with the printable side up against the right side of the sheet feeder, and place it behind the tabs. The printable side is often whiter or brighter than the other side.

Slide the edge guide to the left edge of the paper, but not too tightly. Make sure it fits under the
 arrow mark inside the edge guide. |

Flip the feeder guard back.

Note:|
Leave enough space in front of the printer for the paper to be fully ejected.
Always load paper into the sheet feeder short edge first, even when you are printing landscape-oriented pictures.
