Windows requirements

USB 2.0
System
Windows Vista, Windows XP, and 2000
(Operating systems upgraded from Windows Me, 98, and 95 are not supported by the software.)
USB 2.0 Host Driver by Microsoft must be used.
Display
Color monitor with 800 × 600 screen resolution or higher, and 24-bit (Full Color)

Note:
USB 2.0 is backward-compatible with USB 1.1.
Contact your software manufacturer to find out if their software works in Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

The USB interface must be used in full speed mode.

Macintosh requirements

Check your Macintosh system to see which type of interface you are using. Then see the appropriate section for your system below.
USB 2.0

PowerPC-based or Intel-based Macintosh computers running Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
Fast User Switching on Mac OS X 10.3 is not supported.

Note:
USB 2.0 is backward-compatible with USB 1.1.
Epson Scan does not support the UNIX File System (UFS) for Mac OS X. You must install Epson Scan on a disk or in a partition that does not use UFS.
