Scanning / Basic Scanning

Overview of Basic Procedure

The basic scanning process using a TWAIN-compliant application involves the following procedures;

Turn on this product.

Place the document on the document table. See Placing a Document.

Start a scanning application. See Scanning application for details.

In the application, open EPSON TWAIN 5.

Full Auto mode:
EPSON TWAIN automatically previews the images and recognizes the document source and type. Images are automatically optimized and scanned. See Using the Full Auto Mode.

Manual mode:
Make basic settings, optimize images manually and click Scan. See Using the Manual Mode.

Save the scanned images.
