Scanning / Scanning by Using the Scan Button

Using the Scan Button

The Scan button on this product allows you to scan and send data to a target application. Pressing the Scan button starts EPSON Smart Panel as default.

Note for Windows users:

The Scanner events is supported by Windows. You can assign a desired application other than EPSON Smart Panel to the Scan button. See Assigning a Different Application on Windows for details.

Note for Mac OS X users:

This feature is not available with Mac OS X.

Press the Scan button on this product. The EPSON Smart Panel window appears.

Click an application icon. The selected application opens and scanning starts, and then the scanned image is automatically sent to the application. For details, refer to the EPSON Smart Panel documentation.

Note:

You can assign a desired application in the EPSON Smart Panel window to the Scan button. For details, see Assigning an Application in the EPSON Smart Panel Window.
