Basics Scanning Procedure

Overview of the Basic Procedure

This section outlines the basic scanning procedure using EPSON Scan. For detailed procedure, see the Scanning an Image.

Make sure the scanner is turned on.

Place your materials on the document table.

Start EPSON Scan.

Full Auto Mode:
Click Scan, then EPSON Scan automatically previews the images and recognizes the document source and type. Images are automatically optimized and scanned.

Note:

When scanning film in the Full Auto Mode, you can scan only 35 mm color negative film, 35 mm positive film, and 35 mm slides.

Home Mode or Professional Mode:
Make settings to optimize images and then click Scan.

Specify a location where the scanned image are saved, and select a file format.

Save the scanned images in the specified folder.
