Scanning from the Manual Mode / Using the EPSON TWAIN Manual Mode Window

Scanning Procedure in the Manual Mode

The scanning process in the Manual mode involves the following procedure:

Start a TWAIN-compliant application.

In the application, open EPSON TWAIN 5 using a command such as Acquire.

In the EPSON TWAIN Manual mode window, make basic settings, optimize images manually and click Scan. See Overview of the Manual Mode Window for details.

Save the scanned images.

Note:

You can operate EPSON TWAIN in the same way on both Windows and Macintosh. This guide explains the operation procedure using the Windows examples.
