Advanced Scanning / Scanning in the Manual Mode

Using the Scan Button

Clicking the Scan button scans the image or the active marquee in the Preview window.

While scanning, a progress indicator appears. If necessary, click Cancel to cancel the operation.

The scanned image is transferred to the application software you used to open EPSON TWAIN so that you can work with the image from within that application.

Depending on the application, you need to close the Manual mode window before working with the scanned image. To close the Manual mode window, click Close.

Note:

You cannot scan an image with a size that exceeds the available memory or disk space. If you try to scan the image, an alert appears on the screen.
