Transporting the Scanner

When transporting the scanner over a long distance, or when storing them for an extended period of time, you need to lock the scanner's carriage to prevent damage. Follow the procedure below.

Turn on the scanner and wait until the carriage moves left to the home position.

Turn off the scanner.

Disconnect the cable between the scanner and the computer.

Pull down the transportation lock.

Attach the protective materials and repack the scanner in its original box.
