Options and consumable products are sold separately, and can be installed easily. To purchase options or consumable products contact your dealer or the customer support representative in your area. The last digit of the product number, represented by an asterisk (
), varies by country. Be sure to mention the product number when placing your order.
The printer comes with 16 MB of memory, which can be expanded up to 256 MB.
The printer comes with a serial interface, a bi-directional parallel interface and an Ethernet interface. You can install an optional interface card as well.
The Adobe® PostScript® 3™ Kit (C83245) ROM module is a useful option that generates crisp output.
The optional Hard Disk Drive (C82377) is a valuable addition that provides up to 6 GB of memory for print jobs.
The optional Large Capacity Paper Unit (C81329) is capable of holding 550 pages of various paper sizes and types. It is possible to install two units to your printer at the same time.
The optional Envelope Feeder (C81332) is a quick and convenient way to print on a wide variety of envelope sizes and types.
The optional Duplex Unit (C81330) allows you to print on both sides of the paper.
The optional Multibin Unit (C81333) has 10 mailboxes each capable of holding 45 pages of printed documents. Each mailbox can be given an individual assignment, to a person or a department. The mailboxes also have locks that can be opened with a password.
The optional Shifter (C81334) can be used for sorting or stacking documents up to 500 sheets.
The Imaging Cartridge (S051070) is specially designed for your high-quality 1200-dpi printer.
