About the Printer Software

The printer driver lets you choose from a wide variety of settings to get the best results from your printer. The printer driver also includes EPSON Status Monitor 3, which is accessed through the Utility menu. EPSON Status Monitor 3 lets you check the status of your printer. See Monitoring Your Printer by Using EPSON Status Monitor 3 for more information.

Note:

To ensure proper operation, a computer name must be entered in your computer's settings. Make sure there are no invalid characters in the name. If your printer is shared, make sure the name is unique to your computer. For information on settings the computer name, see the documentation for your operation system.
