How To / Replacing Consumable Products
When you see messages on the window of the EPSON Status Monitor 3 utility, replace the appropriate consumable products. You can continue to print for a short time after a message appears, but EPSON recommends early replacement to maintain print quality and extend the life of your printer.
If you continue to use the printer without replacing consumable products and a consumable product reaches the end of its service life, the printer stops printing and displays messages in the window of the EPSON Status Monitor 3 utility. When this happens, the printer cannot resume printing until you replace the depleted consumable products.
