How to / Using the Printer Software with Windows
The USB interface that comes with your printer complies with Microsoft Plug and Play (PnP) USB specifications.

Only PC systems equipped with a USB connector and running Windows XP, Me, 98, and 2000 support the USB interface. |
Click Start, point to Settings, then click Printers. |
Right-click the EPSON AL-C4000 Advanced icon, and click Properties on the menu that appears. |
Click the Details tab. In Windows XP or 2000, click the Port tab. |
Select the appropriate USB port from the Print to the following port drop-down list. In Windows Me or 98, select EPUSB1(EPSON AL-C4000 Advanced). In Windows XP or 2000, select USB001 in the list on the Ports menu. |

This screen is a Windows Me and 98 screen. |
Click OK to save this setting. |
