How to / Using the Printer Driver with Windows

Setting for the USB connection

The USB interface that comes with your printer complies with Microsoft Plug and Play (PnP) USB specifications.

Note:

Only PC systems equipped with a USB connector and running Windows Me/98/2000 respectively support the USB interface.

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.

Right-click the EPSON AL-C1000 Advanced icon, and click Properties on the menu that appears.

Select the Details tab. In Windows 2000, select the Port tab.

Select the appropriate USB port from the Print to the following port drop-down list. In Windows Me or 98, select EPUSB1: (EPSON AL-C1000 Advanced).
In Windows 2000, check USB001 in the list on the Ports menu.

Click OK to save this setting.
