Ejecting PC cards
Precautions for Macintosh users
Macintosh computers may write information on a memory card when it is loaded in the PC card slot. However, after doing so, some digital cameras may no longer be able to read the memory card.

Caution:

Always drag the memory card icon from the desktop into the trash to eject the card, turn off the printer or unplug the USB cable. Any other method can damage the memory card data.

Ejecting PC cards

Check that the Processing light is not flashing.
|

Press the button as shown to eject the PC card.

Caution:

Do not remove or insert CompactFlash, SmartMedia, or Microdrive while the PC card adapter is in the slot. Doing so can cause data to be lost.

The ejecting method varies depending on the storage media. Be sure to refer to the manuals packaged with your memory card and PC card adapter for details.

The PC card will pop out far enough for you to pull it out.
