Setting the Bluetooth Passkey (Set BT PIN Code)

If you select Pairing as the BT Mode or On as the BT Encryption setting, the passkey must be entered into a Bluetooth enabled device before it can communicate with and print from the printer.

Note:

Be sure to set a unique passkey before using Bluetooth communication.

To change the passkey, follow the instructions below. Use the

buttons to change the LCD screen view to find the mode you want to enter.

Enter Setup mode from the Home menu.

Enter Bluetooth Settings mode.

Enter Set BT PIN Code.

For PX820FWD/TX820FWD/Artisan 835:
Press the

, or

buttons to select a number for the first digit, then press the

buttons to change the digit.

For PX720WD/TX720WD/Artisan 725:
Press the

, or

buttons to select a number for the first digit, then press the OK button to change the digit.

For PX820FWD/TX820FWD/Artisan 835:
Select numbers for the second through fourth digits in the same manner, then press the OK button to activate the passkey.

For PX720WD/TX720WD/Artisan 725:
Select numbers for the second through fourth digits in the same manner, press the

buttons to select Done, and then press the OK button to activate the passkey.
