To uninstall EpsonNet Config, see the EpsonNet Config Help.
Are the network settings configured on the computer?

The model name and IP address do not appear in the EpsonNet Config dialog box

Did you select “Keep Blocking” or “Block” on the Windows Security Alert screen or firewall software screen?
Selecting Keep Blocking or Block hides the model name in EpsonNet Config. To show the name, follow the steps below to register the software as an exception in the Windows Firewall or commercially available security software.
The procedure below may not show the name depending on the commercially available security software. In this case, temporarily exit the security software then use the software.
Note:
If the software is registered as an exception in Windows Firewall, ports used by the registered program can accept external communications. This means that the security risk (through a network, etc.) may increase. Computer virus infection may be a serious risk. Keep these risks in mind and change the Windows Firewall settings at your responsibility.
We disclaim any responsibility for damages arising from setting changes.
Click the Start button or Start then Control Panel.
Click Allow a program through Windows Firewall.
Windows XP: Click Security Center, then go to step 4.
Click Continue in the User Account Control dialog box.
Click Windows Firewall.
Click the Exceptions tab then Add Program.
Select EpsonNet Config, and then click OK.
Verify that EpsonNet Config is added to Programs and Services and has a checkmark, and then click OK.
Did you change the IP address from the factory setting?
If the printer’s IP address remains the default, the Model Name and IP Address may not appear. Even if the Model Name and IP Address do not appear, the printer’s network interface can be configured. In this case, the MAC address is the identifier. the MAC address can be confirmed on the printer’s control panel or in the IP Address field of the network status sheet. Configuring the printer network interface shows them correctly.
Change the Time Before Declaring Communication Error setting.
In EpsonNet Config, select Options from the Tool menu, and then select Timeout. Increase the length of time before a timeout in Time Before Declaring Communication Error. Note that doing so can cause EpsonNet Config to run more slowly (take more time to search).

A dial-up connection dialog box appears when printing with EpsonNet Print

Is the Internet connection set to dial-up connection?
Printing ends normally after you close this dialog box, but the message appears every time you print after starting Windows. Connect to the Internet using a LAN or start a dial-up network manually.
