Basic Scanning Procedure

Overview of the Basic Procedure

The basic scanning procedures using a TWAIN-compliant application involves the following steps:

Turn on the scanner.

Place your materials on the document table.

Start a TWAIN-compliant application.

In the application, open EPSON Scan.

Preview the images in the Preview window by clicking the Preview button. Make basic settings, optimize images manually, and then click Scan.

Note:

If the Auto preview check box is selected, preview scanning automatically starts when you access the Home Mode. If this check box is cleared, the previewed image does not appear automatically.

The scanned images are sent to the application.

Save the scanned images in the application.
